From residential communities to large-scale mixed-use destinations, Capland Development continues to help shape the future of Central Texas.
Several of our projects have recently received attention from leading regional and national real estate publications. The coverage highlights our work in Georgetown, Kyle and Hutto—as well as the partnerships, planning and entitlement efforts required to move ambitious developments forward.
Patience Ranch Prepares for Its Next Chapter Near Georgetown
The Austin Business Journal recently reported on plans for Toll Brothers to develop Patience Ranch, a nearly 364-acre residential site near Georgetown.
The proposed community is planned to include approximately 535 homes. The coverage highlights Capland Development’s work to position the property for its next phase and create an opportunity for one of the nation’s leading luxury homebuilders to bring new housing to the growing Georgetown area.
The project reflects Capland’s ability to navigate the complexities of large-scale land development and prepare properties for successful partnerships with respected builders and developers.

Crossroad District Plans Presented to Kyle City Council
In March, Community Impact reported on Capland Development’s presentation of the proposed Crossroad District to Kyle City Council.
Located near the Ascension Seton Hays hospital campus, the approximately 34-acre mixed-use development is envisioned as a connected destination for housing, hospitality, retail and service-oriented businesses. Current plans include 535 multifamily residences, commercial and mixed-use development areas, and two potential hotel sites.
An interior greenbelt is also incorporated into the concept, creating pedestrian connections through the development and helping establish a more accessible, thoughtfully planned environment for residents, businesses and visitors.
The presentation marked an important step in the ongoing planning and entitlement process. Capland will continue collaborating with city leaders, consultants and project partners as plans for the district progress.

Austin Business Journal Highlights Kyle’s Mixed-Use Growth
The Austin Business Journal later took a closer look at the scale and commercial potential of Capland’s proposed Kyle development.
The current proposal calls for approximately 177,000 square feet of commercial space alongside 535 multifamily residences. A combination of retail, restaurants, offices and hotel uses is planned to serve the surrounding community and respond to continued growth near the hospital campus.
Situated within the rapidly expanding Austin–San Antonio corridor, the project represents an opportunity to bring complementary housing and commercial uses together in a location shaped by ongoing residential, employment and healthcare growth.

The Gateway at Hutto Receives Statewide Attention
The Real Deal also featured The Gateway at Hutto, Capland’s visionary mixed-use development planned near East Wilco Highway and County Road 137.
The Gateway is designed to bring residential neighborhoods, retail, dining, office, hospitality and thoughtfully planned open space together within one connected destination. Its location provides convenient access to State Highway 130 while creating new opportunities for businesses, residents and visitors in one of Williamson County’s fastest-growing communities.
More than a collection of individual uses, The Gateway is envisioned as a place where people can live, work, gather and enjoy the character of Hutto.

Transforming Land to Life
Every development begins with a piece of land and a vision for what it can become. Bringing that vision to life requires experience, strong partnerships and a clear understanding of the communities each project will serve.
We appreciate the journalists and publications covering our work and helping keep Central Texas informed about the projects shaping the region’s future. Capland looks forward to continuing to create residential communities, commercial destinations and lasting opportunities throughout Central Texas.
