Driftwood Store

The Driftwood Store of today dates back to 1915, the predecessor of which was destroyed by fire at the turn of the 19th century. It has housed uses such as a general store, mercantile, post office, feed store, laundry and dry cleaning facility, photography studio, and domino parlor through it’s 100-year old history. Capland Development purchased the site in December 2022, presenting a full-circle moment for members of its’ team, whose ancestors owned it from 1935-1946. While ultimate plans have yet to be finalized, the Capland Team is excited to bring back to life a gathering place for a community that it has long-standing ties to. Check back for updates.
